Gomez was born in Grand Prairie, Texas to Ricardo Gomez and former actress Mandy Teefey. Her father is Mexican American, and her mother is half-Italian descent. She received a baccalaureate degree through home schooling 2010th May.
Gomez began acting at the age of seven, plays Gianna in Barney & Friends. Gomez appeared as a guest star on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and had a guest appearance - which later became a recurring role on Hannah Montana from the season 2:58.
